so you understand how we use the personal information we ask you to submit.
As we update and expand our services, this policy may change, so please
refer back to it periodically. If you use any of nymMEDIA's services,
you agree to these terms.
Background
When you register at nymMEDIA, we ask you for personal
information. We use this information to process your orders and to communicate
with you about the status of your orders. We use your email address to
communicate with you regarding issues with your account and for automatic
notification of certain events pertaining to your account.

Collection and Use of Information
When you come to the nymMEDIA site for the first time,
you must certify that you are at least 18 years old. (People under 18
cannot use nymMEDIA's services.)
When you register at nymMEDIA, we ask for your email
address, password, full name, telephone number and shipping address so
that we can ship your order. We provide your shipping address to the US
Post Office for delivery purposes. In case a DVD gets lost in the mail,
we will also provide your telephone number to the US Post Office when
we file a mail loss report. We use your telephone number only if there
is an order-related issue, not for marketing purposes. Our server stores
this information so that placing future orders will be quicker and easier.
We collect and store your billing address and credit
card information for the purposes of collecting your monthly membership
fee. We provide your credit card information to a credit card processing
company for authorization only. We do not provide your e-mail address
to the credit card processor.
If you want to update your address or change credit
cards, go to Your Account and make the appropriate changes. You must be
signed in to access Your Account.

Cookies
As you browse the nymMEDIA site, cookies are
placed on your computer's hard drive. (Cookies are small pieces of data
that are sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your hard
drive.) Cookies allow us to track the items you select as you shop, and
help us match your address and credit card information with your order
so you don't need to retype the information each time you visit our site.
If your browser is set to not accept cookies, you will
not be able to use the nymMEDIA site or service.
We do not, as many sites do, store a cookie on your
hard drive that persists for longer than your current browser session.
The drawback to this is that you will have to log in at nymMEDIA each
time you start your browser. The benefit is that no one in your household
or with access to your computer will find that they are still logged in
if they happen upon the website.
